Now, if you want to unwind, The Rock is home to SLO Brew’s taproom restaurant, kitchen, and event space.
And yes, you guessed it! The casual outdoor setting centers around “the rock”. The space features extensive landscaping, outdoor seating, and fire pits, making it one of the largest venues for events in SLO County.

Commune with Nature – The San Luis Obispo Hike to the Serenity Swing
To be clear, SLO’s beautiful year-round weather and spectacular views make outdoor activities a popular pastime.
Because of this, we recommend the moderate 3.5-mile trail to Serenity Swing as a must-do. It will take approximately two hours and requires sturdy shoes, sunscreen, and water.
An added bonus, dogs are welcome on the trail!
